Salon 9 is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. We are a premium, full-service ladies’ salon in Dubai, committed to exceptional hairdressing, personalised service and inclusive beauty.

We specialise in curly and textured hair while offering a comprehensive range of hair services. We are looking for a versatile stylist who combines technical excellence with a passion for their craft, an established clientele and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.

As a member of our team, you will bring confidence across cutting, colouring and styling, with a particular strength in hair colour. Experience working with curly and textured hair is a strong advantage, as is a genuine interest in developing your expertise across different hair types and textures.

Requirements

• Gender: Female, as we are a ladies-only salon.

• Formal training: Professionally trained in hairdressing, with a recognised qualification or equivalent formal training.

• Experience: Minimum five years of professional hairdressing experience, with strong technical skills.

• Established clientele: An existing client base in Dubai and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

• Communication: Confident spoken English and excellent consultation skills.

• Colouring: A confident colourist with experience in highlights, balayage, ombré, and colour corrections.

• Cutting: Strong cutting skills across different lengths, shapes and styles.

• Styling: Proficient in professional blow-dries, round-brush styling, silk presses, hot-tool techniques, Hollywood waves and updos.

• Hair textures: Experience working with curly and textured hair is highly desirable. An understanding of different curl patterns and the ability to adapt techniques to suit individual hair needs are particularly valued.

• Professionalism: A polished personal presentation, a strong sense of personal style and a commitment to consistently high standards.

• Commercial awareness: Comfortable working towards KPIs and targets, recommending appropriate services and retail products, and contributing to salon revenue.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, personalised consultations and recommend suitable services, treatments and home-care routines.

• Deliver high-quality haircuts, colouring and styling tailored to each client's hair type, texture and desired result.

• Build client loyalty through excellent service, clear communication and consistent results.

• Maintain and grow a loyal clientele while contributing to the salon's overall business performance.

• Recommend relevant services, treatments and retail products to enhance client results and support retail sales.

• Work towards agreed KPIs and revenue targets.

• Maintain a clean, organised workstation and follow all hygiene, sanitation and tool-sterilisation procedures.

• Work collaboratively with the team and contribute to Salon 9's professional, inclusive and client-focused culture.
